Today, in recognition of the 18th anniversary of 9/11, The University of Alabama remembers and honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the horrific terrorist attack on our country. On this Patriot Day and National Day of Service, I hope you will seek opportunities to serve in our community or on our campus in tribute to our fallen citizens, first responders and the many who serve and protect our country every day.
